Theta Delta's Reclaimed Charter
Boosts Morale for the Fall Semester
T
heta Delta is proud to announce that after the 178th General Convention
this summer, we are now officially a full chapter of Beta Theta Pi.
Raising more than $8,000 for our philanthropy partner and initiating 37 of
37 inducted new members are just two examples of the hard work we put
in these last three years to make this possible.
At convention, Theta Delta also won awards for outstanding leadership
development attendance and outstanding recruitment program. Another
summer highlight is sending 14 members to the Wooden Institute, 11 of
whom were from our recently initiated new member class.
This fall, our Chapter was ecstatic to move into the brand new Chapter
House. The positive impact this house will have on both culture and
operations makes us all the more excited. We look forward to another
booming recruitment period as we still believe there is room for Theta
Delta to expand.
Despite the incredible feeling of success we have from receiving our
charter, we feel as if the work has just begun. We are motivated and driven
to apply and receive a Knox Award annually and continue to rack up
awards from the University. We are thrilled with all we have achieved and
look forward to working to be the best chapter we can be.
