A
lpha Tau Omega Fraternity has positively influenced the lives of nearly
1,000 young men at Oklahoma State University since its founding in
1947. As alumni, we can trace many of our best memories to Oklahoma
State and to our fraternity experience. Still today, many of us feel the
excitement of those days in our recollections.
ATW plays a significant role in the personal and professional development
of its members. Our alumni have realized their potential by distinguishing
themselves as leaders in their professions and communities. Much of this
success can be attributed to the lessons and values we learned outside of
the classroom at fraternity functions, including meetings and activities.
Through ATW we learned the importance of becoming scholars, leaders,
athletes, and gentlemen. Beyond pride in our achievements, as young men
we acquired valuable assets, which included leadership skills, organizational
skills, social skills, teamwork and character—only the beginning of a long
list of traits gained through our fraternity that have made us the men we are
today. As alumni, we can be proud of the legacy we helped create and the
quality of our Chapter today.
The Chapter House is clearly the focus of undergraduate life for Epsilon
Omicron. It is the rallying point, the living and learning center for our
brothers, and a place we have all been fortunate enough to call home. It
is where undergraduates hone their leadership, organizational and social
skills, teamwork and character. With the continued commitment and
dedication of alumni and undergraduates alike, our home has served us
well for many years. Now, as we look to the future and strive to maintain
our record of accomplishments, we come together to ensure, on a campus
that is more competitive than ever, that we remain a strong organization for
the next generation.
