The Daily Star, Oneonta, N.Y., Friday, July 21, 2017 20 By Lindsay Scharf TV Media Little people, big prob- lems: A new spinoff of an old favorite is set to premiere Wednesday, July 26, on Life- time. "Little Women: LA: Cou- ples Retreat" follows seven couples as they complete vari- ous challenges led by relation- ship experts in an effort to strengthen and repair their fal- tering relationships. It's a spinoff of the popular "Little Women" franchise, a series that follows a group of little women — also known as women living with dwarfism — and their groups of friends as they navigate the ups and downs of life and relationships. "Little Women: LA: Couples Retreat" features couples Tonya and Kerwin, Briana and Matt, Christy and Todd, Andrea and Chris, Amanda and Jordan, Lila and Brian, and Jazim and David. Each pair deals with the same relationship challenges that average-sized couples face, such as money, family, etc., plus challenges more commonly associated with be- ing little, such as medical issues. Music plus drama: Music fans should mark their calen- dar and tune in to the season 4 premiere of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood," airing Monday, July 24, on VH1. The original "Love & Hip Hop" series fol- lows the lives of hip hop and R&B artists, performers, man- agers and record producers as they navigate the tough world of show business in the U.S. Ini- tially set in New York City, the first episode aired in 2011, and the series has been a big hit for the VH1. The Hollywood-based spinoff premiered in 2014. Fans of the series are treat- ed to an inside view of the music industry, combined with relationship ups and downs and over-the-top per- sonal drama. New to season 4 is Safaree Samuels, a rapper and record producer — you may recognize him as Nicki Minaj's ex-fiancé. Viewers also get to catch up with all the favorites from previous seasons. Teairra Mari is an R&B and pop singer/actress. In season 4, she finds love with Cisco Rosa- do (a cast member from "Love & Hip Hop: New York"). Key- shia Cole struggles to make it back to the top. She's still living with her husband, but she has now filed for divorce. Brooke Valentine also tries to make a comeback but frequently gets distracted by her turbulent re- lationship with her boyfriend, Marcus Black. Moniece ex- plores her sexuality and is in love with a woman, Annette Diggs. realtalk B/The Pine Shop 6x7.5 www.thepineshoponeonta.com www.thepineshoponeonta.com Serving Oneonta and surrounding Communities Since 1974 Exterior Super Coat White Reg. $34.95 Sale $24.69 Interior Flat Super Coat Reg. $24.95 Sale $18 Poly Lumber Maintenance Free Lawn Furniture Save 10% on 2 or more pieces Quality Upholstered By Friendship, ComFort Design, Klassner, Norwalk & Temple.
