Guy Cayton was born into a share- cropper family. An interest in electronics jolted him off the farm and into the U.S. Air Force, then in 1963 Guy started North Carolina Communications. He grew the business, sold it and semi-retired. Amerizon Wireless was formed after the business was bought back in 2003, with Guy's youngest son, Marty, taking over the major- ity ownership in 2010. Now with 40 employees and of- fices in Fayetteville, Raleigh and Winston-Salem they support customers all over the U.S. and abroad.
