Funds2Orgs will purchase all of the donated goods, and PAWS will earn $.40 per pound of shoes based on the number of pairs collected. Our goal is to collect 100 bags each containing 25 pairs of shoes for a total of 2500 pairs. All shoes are sent to impoverished countries. All donated shoes should be gently worn, used, or new. They should be in good condition meaning that the soles are intact, they have laces (if necessary), there are no holes or scuffs, they are dry and clean, and they still have life left in them. The main drop off location will be at Tractor Supply on Hwy 74A Bypass in Spindale during their normal business hours. The collection box will be located just to the left of the front door. To make it even more convenient and easy for you to donate, we want to challenge you to set up your own drop box at your business, church, civic organization, fi re department, gym, or school and have a goal to fi ll at least one bag of 25 pairs of shoes, but more would be wonderful. Challenge your friends, family, or Neighborhood HOA's to fi ll bags of 25 pairs of shoes each. What a great way to come together for such a grea t cause! For information or to arrange a pick up of your collected shoes, call Karen Conner at 828-429- 5558. We'll give updates often on how close we are to reaching our goal. Let's make this a BIG SUCCESS for the animals! Thank you for your support!
