Thursday, May 25, 2017 Destination Summer — 11 By BECKY BARCLAY Participants at this year's sum- mer art camps at the Arts Council of Wayne County will explore the world with "Bee a World Traveler with Bart Z. Bee." "We are changing the structure of the camps this year to be more interactive," said director Wendy Snow Walker. "In the past, campers took two classes per day. This year, we will begin with opening exercises and a group activity, then the first class. During the break, we will have a dance or movement activity. After the second class, there will be a closing group activity." Here is a listing of this year's camps: • Session I — June 5 through 9 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for ages 5 through 12. Cost is $125. The grass is always greener on the Emerald Isle. Participants will take a trip with instructor Timothe Cavenaugh and explore their creativity with paint- ings in acrylic and watercolors.
