The memorial is designed to remember police dogs who have served with the Fayetteville Police Department, as well as honoring those who still serve. Parks & Recreation Aquatics Begin Summer Operations Splash Pad at J.S Spivey Recreation Center - 500 Fisher St. Fight the heat with a splash of water! Come enjoy the pad as water sprinkles from a rainbow of colored arches. Onlookers can relax under the shaded tables near the Splash Pad. All ages; May 13 through Sept. 9; Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; 3 to 6 p.m. when school is in session; Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.; Free Pools FCPR pools will open the swim season on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. With the exception of Memorial Day (Monday, May 29) and Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 4), the pools will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Keith A. Each facility features a competition lap pool with a depth range of 4-feet to 6-feet and wading pools with a zero entry and a maximum depth of 3.5 feet depth. Cost for public swim is $1 for residents ages 12 and under, $2 for non-residents 12 and under, $2 for residents ages 13+ and $4 for non-residents ages 13+. The City Manager's recommended budget was presented at the May 8 City Council Regular Meeting. The webpage is accessible by logging onto www.FayettevilleNC.gov/budgetchronicles or logging onto www.FayettevilleNC.gov and clicking on the Budget Chronicles links under "Around the City." On the Budget Chronicles webpage, you can read budget documents dating back to FY2005. Residents can also view technology improvement plans, capital improvement plans, fee schedules, budget presentations and City Council budget questions from past fiscal years. Each of these items for the upcoming fiscal year will also be posted during the FY2018 budget process, so the public can follow the progressions of budget discussions and the approval of the upcoming budget. Residents will also find a series of Frequently Asked Questions on the Budget Chronicles main page, which drills down into the details of the City budget.
