Jennings today, April 24, 2017. After 19 years apart, this loving couple is finally reunited. For him, there could be no one else but Wanda. A love story for the ages. Their romance began just before he left to serve our coun- try in WWII. He knew he would make it home and marry her. He was so sure of it, he had her name tattooed in a heart on his arm. They married November 12, 1946! After the Army he came home and worked for John Deere, until he was ultimately injured and retired. Gerald was a funny, incredible loving and overall amazing person just to be around. He would laugh with you, tease you and keep you wondering if he was serious. Al- ways a kidder and the light of the room. He was the second oldest of fourteen boys! Loved by every one of them. With his wife Wanda, they had two wonderful children! Survived by, Christy L. Jennings and husband Daniel Manning, Rodney A. Jennings and wife Kim- berley M. Jennings. Brothers, Robert Jennings, clar- ence Jennings, Wayne Jennings, Edward Jennings, James P Jen- nings, Larry Jennings. Four amazing grandchildren, Mike Cumings JR and wife Lisa Curran, Jerry J. Jennings and his wife Kim- berly J. Jennings, Stacy M. White, Frank J. Jennings and his wife Kavia L. Jennings. Great grandchildren, Zac Cum- ings, Rebecca A. White, Madison S. White and Ellielynn R. The most common problem our office faces is incorrect mailing ad- dresses. We encourage taxpayers to notify our office if you move or have a different mailing address. This is to prevent problems in the future. Our records are for assessing pur- pose only, but we do want to have the most up to date information. Having the correct mailing infor- mation will ensure your Notice of Value and Tax Statement is sent to the correct address. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing if you have a recent change of address. Many winter visitors would like our office to maintain their winter and summer address. However, our system only allows one address per taxpayer. Therefore, it is your re- sponsibility to contact us each time you change locations. Mailings are sent out in February for Notice of Values and September for Tax Statements. If you do not receive these mailings, stop by or call for another copy. Another thing to keep in mind is if you remove a storage-shed, garage, etc., or anything that is on your property, we would like to know that too so that we may update your property file here at the Assessor's office. When our office is notified of a change to the property we need to set up a field review date. We will visit the property to verify the in- formation that was provided to our office and then we remove the im- provement in question off of your property record file. Remember it's your tax dollars that are at stake, let's pay our fair share but no more than necessary. As always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact our office at your convenience; we are here for you, the taxpayer. Until Next Time…. Anna and Staff…. Accessor's Corner
