Joining Beta Chi, Carla knew she wanted to be
surrounded by smart, fun, and strong women.
Carla has stayed close with many of her Kappa
sisters, and appreciates how the chapter helped
shape her into the woman she is today. "My
sense of pride in Kappa Kappa Gamma had a lot
to do with the sisterhood, but I also felt that we
were a genuine group of people who were down
to Earth and easy to be around. I was proud to be
in a group that felt like home."
Carla and her husband, Dan Cerwinske, live in
Louisville with their three cats: Coco Chanel,
Vera Wang, and The Duchess Ferguson of
Britain. Carla is on the board of governors at
the Speed Art Museum and chairman of the
marketing committee for Kids Cancer Alliance.
