TAU KAPPA EPSILON q BETA ETA CHAPTER q MISSOURI S&T q SPRING 2017 BETA ETA DATA S ince 2009, Beta Eta has worked tirelessly to create a new home for Tau Kappa Epsilon at Rolla. Now, eight years later, our vision is becoming a reality. As you can see from this photo, construction at #3 Fraternity Row is well underway! The progress on our new building is on schedule and the doors to our renovated Chapter House will open this June. Looking back on the last decade, it brings me great pride knowing that we exceeded our original $1 million fundraising and 30% participation campaign goals. We have worked together to build something great for future Tekes and I look forward to celebrating with you all this fall at Homecoming. After many volunteer man hours and calls for support, the campaign board has decided to officially end the Pride in Our Past: Securing Our Future campaign on July 31, 2017. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this worthy cause; we could not have achieved this milestone in Beta Eta's history without your generous support. New Gis and Early Pledge Payments Needed To the 503 brothers who have not made a donation to the campaign, now is the time to come on board. With only three plus months to secure your name on our esteemed donor list, we encourage you to use the enclosed pledge card to submit a gift today. Any amount you can contribute is appreciated and welcome. Beta Eta alumni at St. Pats in March. Constuction is underway at #3 Fraternity Row. Although we have received pledges in the amount of $1,180,801 to date, we are projected to experience a shortfall between the actual dollars collected to date and the planned dollars of nearly $50,000. If you are in a position to make a gift, pay off your pledge, or a portion thereof early, please take advantage of this opportunity. Fulfilling pledges is essential to reducing the projected house payments undergraduate Tekes will encounter and also provides a monetary buffer for any maintenance or repair items. e Time to Contribute Is Coming to an End Don't miss this opportunity to make a lasting impact on Beta Eta. We don't want you to visit the new Chapter House and look back with regret on not having contributed toward the betterment Last Chance to Donate to Tradition of Excellence Campaign Campaign Ending July 31, 2017 of the Chapter you once called home. When we took our bond as Tekes we committed to our membership not only during our undergraduate years, but for life. Please fulfill your promise and give back in any capacity you are able to for Beta Eta. Thank you to all who have pledged. Thank you to all who have increased their pledges. Thanks to those who are continuing to pay on their pledges. And thank you to those who intend to. To those who have voiced a desire to give and those we have not heard from, remember, it is not too late! Yours in the Bond, Michael McEvilly '78, BH615 Campaign Chairman mmcevilly@hess.com (713) 907-3160 TAU KAPPA EPSILON—"e Fraternity for Life"
