All 14 Board members were re-elected to serve for the coming year. The HC Executive Committee was also re-elected as well with no changes. Updates from the Capital Campaign Re-Development team were presented and plans are moving forward as scheduled. Our entire property at 2701 Nueces will be leveled and replaced with a whole new structure - both the Main House and expanded Apartments. Everything will be brand new and facilities expanded to house up to 45 undergraduates on site. The undergraduate Chapter is now consistently maintaining a membership well in excess of 150 Brothers. Currently, the Chapter serves up to 150 plates per meal during the week and has a top rate Food Service provider in College Chefs. The Capital Campaign's extensive plans will provide a top notch facility for the entire Chapter and affordable first rate living space for 45 Brothers. It will allow the Alpha Nu Chapter of Sigma Chi to maintain its status on campus as one of the top-rated fraternities at The University well into the future. Your House Corporation was also awarded another Outstanding HC Gold Award this past year. The Chapter continues to grow and 46 new Brothers were initiated last November. A successful Fight Night was also held last Fall. Alpha Nu hosted the Tri-Province Training Workshop here in Austin last month and all Sigma Chi Chapters in Texas had delegates attending. The House Corporation Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that $15,000 in scholarships were awarded to ten deserving Alpha Nu undergrads this past Fall. A big 'Thank You' goes out to AN Brother Jack Guenther, who generously underwrote the majority of those scholarships given. The remaining balance to fund the scholarships came from the donations that many of you have made and continue to make to the AN Scholarship Fund. So THANK YOU - Alpha Nu Alumni.... Without the interest and continued support from all AN Alumni, our Chapter would not be as successful as it is today. Please feel free to drop by the Chapter House at 2701 Nueces anytime you are in Austin. Hopefully, many of you will be able to participate in the Freeman Golf Classic on April 29.
