Who was your best friend at ATW? Who inspired you as an undergraduate? What did you learn about leadership? How is your life different because of Gamma Theta Chapter? If we were to ask every brother these questions, it's guaranteed their answers would vary. Hopefully, they would all be in agreement that while each ATW experience is unique, they are all a positive reflection of their time spent at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We hope you're able to look back at the truly life-changing experience at Gamma Theta Chapter and recall the many benefits your ATW membership brought into your life. You can still give back to Gamma Theta Chapter and add your name to our list of loyal, generous donors who have invested in the future of Gamma Theta. If you have been on the fence about giving, or it has been on your to-do list and just hasn't been checked off, don't delay any longer. The time to pay it forward is now. To date, 15% of our alumni base has expressed their gratitude for their ATW experience by supporting the Building on a Tradition of Excellence campaign, but we must see an increase in alumni support. The average participation in Greek campaigns is 25%, and we strongly feel that this is an attainable goal for the campaign. We thank the 207 donors for their generosity and unwavering support of the place that helped us grow into capable leaders in college and beyond. And to those who have delayed your support, we hope you'll look back at your ATW experience and see what gifts it has given you. Remember, all donors who pledge $5,000 or more will have their name included on a plaque permanently displayed in the newly renovated chapter house. We thank you for your interest in and support of Gamma Theta Chapter, and we sincerely hope that you will consider making a first-time gift or extending your pledge if you have already made the leap to give back to Gamma Theta. Gamma Theta Strives for Excellence M embers were excited to move back in this spring and be a fully functioning chapter once again after renovations were completed during winter break. We are all impressed with the development of the renovated house and are excited to use it not only as our home, but also as a recruitment tool as we begin to look for the next pledge class. Along with moving in, we were welcomed with our new passionate house director, Joshua Keller. Josh has already begun to work with the executive team on new ways to approach recruitment and ensure we have an outstanding class come fall. Tau Tacos Raises More Than $3,000 The spring semester began with a focus on improving philanthropically with our new event, Tau Tacos. It was a huge success, allowing our chapter to start off 2017 with a strong presence and set the bar high for upcoming philanthropic events held in the Greek community. We are proud to say that we raised more than $3,000 for Autism Speaks. After the chapter volunteered at a holiday ball for individuals who have autism spectrum disorder last December, we unanimously decided to support Autism Speaks throughout spring of 2017.
