Hal Cleavinger '53 reports that his wife of 59 years passed away three years ago. He has
remarried and is fully retired. Hal is 86 and still believes that aer two fabulous wives, his
Beta membership remains at the top aer family.
Allen Lay '56 is almost fully retired but remains on one public and one private board. He
is also involved in charitable projects and organizations in southern California. He and his
wife, Dorothy, live in Rolling Hills, Calif.
Dick Endacott '60 reports that he recently retired from the Nebraska School Land Trust. He
lives in Pleasant Dale, Neb., with his wife, Katherine.
Dr. Alan Forker '60 teaches at UMKC Medical School and serves on several local boards.

Blaine Barnard '05 le the U.S. Navy in May aer nine-and-a-half years of service to pursue
an MBA. He is a member of the Harvard Business School MBA class of 2018, along with

Brett Bacchus '96 reports that the '96 pledge class had 16 members at their reunion in
September in Keystone, Colo. "It was great to spend time with these men," Brett said.

Bret Winter '97 and his wife, Natalie, welcomed their second child, Marie. She joined
their son, Blake, who is 2 years old. "ey both enjoy listening to old Beta songs when
