new hampshire beta chapter You Can Make an Impact on New Hampshire Beta Join the Alumni Advisory Board Today I am pleased to extend an opportunity for you contribute in a meaningful way to the New Hampshire Beta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon by becoming a member of the chapter's Alumni Advisory Board. I'm asking for an investment, not of money, but of your time that will pay dividends in the development of the True Gentlemen that make up your chapter. The Alumni Advisory Board members are the key alumni volunteers responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to the collegiate chapter, ensuring the chapter's strong health and continued growth. The Alumni Advisory Boards and its member training are organized around the 12 core areas of chapter operations: *Chapter Management *Recruitment *Member Education *Leadership *Ritual *Scholarship *Service/Philanthropy *Health and Safety *University/Campus Relations *Alumni Relations *Housing *Financial Management There is no set number of members on an Alumni Advisory Board and you do not need to live in Durham or the surrounding area. With today's technology, all you need is a desire to have a positive impact on a group poised to grow and do great things on the University of New Hampshire's campus and in the Durham community. By volunteering on an Alumni Advisory Board, you will help enrich the lives of the chapter members and make the chapter stronger. Please contact us if you would be willing to serve on the New Hampshire Beta Chapter Alumni Advisory Board. We look forward to hearing from you! Lastly, our eminent deputy archon, risk manager, eminent warden, and I attended the Greek Leadership Conference on February 4 with other executives from Greek organizations at UNH. Each conference included seminars on how to create better chapters and improve our membership experience. Growing Alumni Involvement In October, we hosted alumni for a Homecoming breakfast. This has been a growing event and we highly encourage alumni to attend this September. We are also in the midst of planning a golf outing at Pease Golf Course in late April. We plan on setting up a few tee times and having a barbecue on the front lawn. This is a great way for our members to reconnect with alumni and share experiences. We always encourage alumni to reach out anytime. Your experience in ΣΑΕ and the real world is valuable information that can go a long way, and we would love to hear your stories and advice. Looking Forward to the Future of New Hampshire Beta New Hampshire was in dire need of a rebuilding process. Throughout this past year, I have watched our chapter change for the better, and I aim to continuously improve that. During my reign as Eminent Archon, I hope to improve upon what our previous leaders have done, as well as work on a project of my own. I aim to improve New Hampshire Beta's image within ΣΑΕ and on campus through the UNH Greek life ranking system, GPEP. The opportunities available to gain points go hand-in- hand in improving our image, benefiting the chapter and changing the culture of New Hampshire Beta.
