Gamma eta has pledged seven outstanding gentlemen, and we are projecting to end at 10 to 13 early signees prior to formal recruitment. Our desired number for the spring semester is 17 new members. We are also set to graduate our largest class in Gamma eta in the last 10 years, at 15 members. With the loss of our senior members, but hopes of 17 new members, our membership will remain around 80 members. Implementing New Study Techniques Following a semester where grades fell for the first time in a year, we are focusing very closely on not only improving our chapter study techniques, but also working to create a beneficial big brother/little brother study program. With these new techniques, we are committed to improving academically while providing an environment where brothers not only encourage each other, but help each other achieve academic excellence. Brothers Focus on Philanthropic Efforts is past fall semester, Gamma eta donated $10,000 to the Taylor Trudeau Cycle for Life Foundation aer raising the money through our second annual Pike Diamond Classic baseball game. Being first- time donors to the Cycle for Life Foundation, Gamma eta is extremely proud of our contribution. In January, we participated in the Frostbite 5K and 10K benefiting the Starkville Police Academy. We had brothers compete in the race as well as wake up early to help volunteer and earn community service hours. ank You, Alumni Following the expansion of our new alumni advisory board, Gamma eta is ready to continue the upward trend of our success with young, fresh executive officers and committed new board members. We thank you for your support, because without the help of our alumni, Gamma eta would not be the strong chapter it is today. Fraternally, Cody Conway '15 Chapter President cc2744@msstate.edu Gamma eta brothers participated in the Frostbite 5K and 10K in January. 2017 Chapter Officers Follow Us Online
