He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1972 with his law degree. John was retired from successful careers as an attorney, investment broker, and property manager. He attended the Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City and was involved in many helpful activities in his community. John is survived by his daughter, Bronwyn Elisabeth Morris; brother, Joseph C. Morris; sister, Mary gayle; and four nephews and one niece. Gary Clark Adams '73 of Tulsa, Okla., entered Chapter Eternal on February 18 at the age of 66. gary was an outstanding athlete and a three-year starter for the Jayhawk football team while at KU. He was the active chairman and president of adams affiliates, whose business concerns included oil and gas production, drilling and exploration, and farming and ranching. gary and his family have been generous supporters of alpha Xi and the University. He is survived by his wife, Melissa, and children of the home, gracie and george; daughters, Kimberly adams, Jamey adams, ashley and her husband Dave Blazer, and Julie and her husband steve Fair; brothers, Stephen S. Adams '68 and Kenneth G. Adams '72; sisters, stephanie adams Walthal and Lisa adams stinson; along with five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
