The entire 2017 Cal Baseball team and coaching staff were in attendance, along with several Cal Baseball alumni. The exceptional evening was spearheaded by Gwyn-Mohr Tully and featured guest speakers Geoff Blum, retired MLB and World Series Champion, and Eric Kubota, Director of Scouting for the Oakland A's. The alumni turnout was extraordinary and many traveled considerable distances to attend, including Geoff Blum and Matt Luke, who flew up from Los Angeles. Other alumni in attendance included Matt Toomey, Justin Stark, Nathan Brown, Jeff Asnicar, Mike Harrison, Sam Petke, Mike Lawn, John Hughes, Michael Capbarat, Dan Trump, and Co-Chairman Gus Panatogotacos. The effort from this group, many from the '92 CWS team, proved they are engaged and committed to the Cal Baseball program and the success of the Cal Baseball Career and Business Network.
