Please make sure you have work- ing smoke and CO detectors in your homes. The Red Cross and Quartzsite Fire Department have available smoke detectors. Thanks to Addicted to Deals for 5000+ pa- perback books you donated. Thanks Isaiah 58 Project for quickly sending over two very strong guys to help pick up and unloaded these many boxes. Patrons, come in and enjoy winter read- ing of these books at 20 for $1! Thanks to our local Post Offi ce for allowing our bell ringing volunteers. They were inadver- tently omitted from last issue. Our Valentine Day "Spread the Love" holiday event has started. Children come in and pick up your coloring page! Entries due by February 13th for prizes. Don't forget we have baby and adult diapers available at no cost. A simple application is all that is needed for this type of assistance. Town of Quartzsite provided these through a Community Outreach Funding grant. Please come see us. We also have a "Medical Room." Items are giv- en as a free loan. We currently have crutches, walkers, raised toilet seats; a variety of ankle, knee, wrist braces, oxgyen tubing, and many other small health items. Sometimes we even have a wheelchair.
