T
he Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and the University of
Florida share a storied tradition dating back to 1924.
From our founding to the present, our history speaks
for itself through high academic achievement and leadership
within the University of Florida. With more than 1,725 initiates,
AGR has influenced the lives of numerous men, cultivating lasting
friendships in the process. Many of our best college memories can
be traced back to our AGR experience.
While many of our alumni have gone on to successful and
distinguished careers in business, agriculture, engineering,
technology, and countless other endeavors, the common bond of
our brotherhood remains, along with our shared principles and
values. Many of us can trace the roots of our success to one place:
the AGR chapter house.
rough AGR we not only learned the importance of friendship,
knowledge, service, morality, and excellence, but we acquired
valuable assets, which include leadership skills, organizational
skills, social skills, teamwork, and character. ese traits have been
integral to our personal and professional success, which helped
make us the men we are today.
Our chapter house at 407 SW 13th St. is clearly the focus of
undergraduate life for AGR at Florida. It has been a home away
from home for hundreds of young men and been a place where
brothers have learned personal and professional development,
obtained a sense of community, and cultivated interests outside
of the classroom. However, if we wish for AGR to continue its
strong presence on Florida's campus, we must ensure that we are
providing a safe, modern, and competitive chapter facility. We
must now secure our future.

THE FOUNDATION: THE FIRST 100 YEARS
"Alpha Gamma Rho at the University of Florida has been a
second home to me. Without the brothers I have met, and the
things AGR has done for me, I would have never been in the
place I am today." – Clint Tedder, Chapter President
