2017
marks the 100th Anniversary of the
Beta Rho Chapter of Sigma Chi at
Montana State. e brotherhood
started by a handful of visionary men in 1917 has impacted
thousands of undergraduates in Bozeman. Our alumni have
gone on to successful and distinguished careers in business,
engineering, medicine, and countless other endeavors. Much of
this success is credited to the common bond of our brotherhood:
our shared principles and values.
e next chapter for Beta Rho must be written by those
who benefited from the first 100 years. We must thank the
visionaries who passed on the Beta Rho legacy to us. Sigma
Chi was a home away from home, an opportunity to meet life-
long friends, and ultimately helped each of us develop into the
men we are today. What will we do for those who come aer
us? What vision will we lay out to ensure another 100 years of
Sigma Chi at Montana State?
e challenges are never as great, and the reward of a strong Sigma
Chi chapter steeped in tradition but focused on developing men
for the future, never as promising. Undergraduate men today
need a safe, modern, and competitive home to develop into the
leaders of tomorrow who will continue to carry the torch for
Beta Rho.
What will we do for those who come aer us?
What vision will we lay out to ensure another
100 years of Sigma Chi at Montana State?
