Welcome, re-Founding Fathers
Pledging Ceremony
Joins Alumni and
New Members
O
n November 5, we pledged the upperclass-
men of our re-founding father class to the
Alpha Chapter. Thirty-two young men, including
sophomores, juniors, and seniors, all became of-
ficial pledges of Beta Theta Pi. Collectively, they
have a 3.44 GPA and are involved in a variety of
organizations and sports throughout campus.
The pledging ceremony took place at the
Administrative Office. Afterward, the new
brothers, along with the alumni in attendance,
made their way to the Marcum Conference
Center for a reception and dinner attended by
Miami University officials and Beta Theta Pi's
Board of Trustees.
During the evening, alumni were able to visit
with our impressive new brothers along with
the chapter advisors. These young men are truly
thankful for the opportunity they've been given
and all that their alumni are doing to support
them.
Our newest brothers gather outside the Administrative Offices just after the pledging ceremony.
Alpha Chapter alumni got to know our re-founding fathers during the festivities surrounding their induction into Beta Theta Pi.
I
f you know of any Miami students who may be interested in joining Beta Theta Pi, please fill out the form at miamioh.beta.org/recruitment.
Also, The Men of Principle Scholarship application will help us build a list of men to recruit. We hope to send scholarship information to every
unaffiliated male student with a GPA above 3.0. This will include thousands of men and help us generate more interest in becoming a re-founding father.
