I can only imagine all the work that Cee, Joanne, Cheri, and Tony do for the show; it is greatly appreciated. It is especially fun to see the repeat, and new cus- tomers who are searching for that special gift for the holidays. This is not only a time to show our handmade creations but to meet new people and renew friend- ships. Again a special thanks to Kym Scott, of Tyson Wells Show- grounds, for the use of his build- ing. And to all who attended and purchased our items: many thanks, you are certainly one of the reasons the show continues to be a suc- cess. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. Sincerely, Mary Huntley Quartzsite Welcome Back Snowbirds! QIA OFFICE NOW OPEN 9am-12 noon Mon-Fri Please come by and pick up a schedule & VOLUNTEER! • BINGO FRIDAY NIGHTS Doors open at 5pm. Only Hard to believe that the Thanksgiv- ing Holiday has passed for another year, and that Christmas is right around the corner but many of us have worked and are continuing to work hard to have been able to make sure that everyone had a bountiful Thanksgiving and will soon have a joyous Christmas. Many organizations have given us funds and private donations have come in as well to the Friends of the Quartzsite Food Bank. It takes a great deal of organizing, shop- ping, packaging involving human hands and hearts to be able to provide those that need a little help with holiday meals. It is this dedication that continues because of your precious donations. We wish to thank The Salvation Army for joining us this year in providing canned fruit for all the Thanksgiving baskets, and Cov- enant Lutheran Church's Con- gregation and a Thrivent Action Team Project for providing the Thanksgiving meals for the Senior Apartments. Our biggest amount of gratitude goes to everyone who reached in their pockets, which often get slim during this time of year, and were able to make a dif- ference in the life of someone or a family, who might have needed a little bit of extra help. In order to continue this impor- tant effort in the community of Quartzsite we need your continu- ing support and donations. Bless you all for your past support and if you feel you would like to continue passing it forward in your commu- nity by sending your checks made out to: The Friends of the Quartzsite Food Bank P.O. 4051, Quartzsite, AZ 85359 Or deliver them to the Quartzsite Food Bank, 40 Moon Mt.
