Ready, Aim, Fire Nothing says love like couples shooting M16s together. Check out the Saturday shooting range at TigerSwan. Instructors are on hand to provide instruction – see who ultimately has the better hand eye coordination. Keep the paper targets for souvenirs of your fun filled date. Take a Leap of Faith At Zipquest you can soar over the treetops and leap off the plat- forms during the guided two-hour long treetop tour. Make a reser- vation and bring along your friends to join you in the fun. Go Green Even if it's not your game, take your date to hit the links and play a round of golf. Fayetteville has many great courses and special events throughout the year. To start, check out Gates Four, Highland Country Club, King's Grant or one of the area's public courses for an afternoon of fun. Dance, Dance, Dance For a night of laughs and good fun with other couples, book a class at Roland's Dance Studio. No experience necessary, they will show you some slick moves to impress your date. Book Worms With some foresight, you can plan a scavenger hunt through your local Cumberland County Library, leaving clues at each periodical for your date. The culminating note at the end could be inside the cover a favorite children's book or a romantic poetry book. Leave a Lasting Impression Looking for something super adventuresome and memorable? Get inked at Hot Rod Studios. Nothing says love like getting your loved one's name or a significant art creation on your ankle, shoul- der or perhaps somewhere hidden. Treasure Hunting Good at solving clues? Geocache throughout Fayetteville with the map from Fayetteville's Convention and Visitor's Bureau for an afternoon of adventure. Geocaches are hidden all over the town and you find them with the GPS coordinates and clues. Upon finding the 'treasure', often a box or container ranging in size from micro- mini to a plastic containers, prizes are inside and you can leave your initials and date that you found the specified Geocache. Show Your Artistic Side Have a zero-pressure artistic experience at Wine, Paint & Canvas where you can discover your inner Picasso and create a frame- worthy painting. In this informal setting in the Millstone Shopping Center, participants sip bring-your-own wine (or a bottle bought at the neighboring Wine Cafe) as they're taken step-by-step through the process of creating the "piece du jour" on canvas. The result is a memento to keep forever. From $35 per person. www.FayettevilleNCChamber.org | 39
