in February 2013 and Ricky Skaggs in April 2013.
The Cumberland County Fair is an- other popular event the Complex hosts each year. This year it will take place in September.
"The fair is well received by the com- munity and a lot of organizations and businesses all tie in with it," Perry said.
Feld Entertainment will present Dis- ney on Ice in December and the Ring- ling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus will be in the Complex in early 2013. "Those shows are great fam- ily entertainment," Perry said. "We're very excited that we have both of those shows locked into contracts for the next three years, all the way through 2015. We work very well with the per- formers to make sure all their needs are met."
Additionally, two large hip-hop events are coming to the Crown in 2012 and are doing very well with ticket sales.
And, no matter the show, concessions are always a part of the entertainment experience. The Crown is making a slow transition into providing healthi- er alternatives to the regular fare.
"People will never get away from hot dogs, nachos and popcorn, but you look at what are the changing hab- its?" Perry said. "Are people looking at healthier fare? A little bit. Are we looking at changing for that? Some- what. But we can't make all the chang- es overnight."
Overall, the Crown Center will always strive to provide what is trendy in the show business world.
"We're always here for what the pro- moter wants, what the community needs or just whatever will make it a great entertainment event for everyone around," Perry said.
