MARIN COUNTY PARKS Thanks to help from voter-approved Measure A funds, a total of 1,630 acres of agricultural lands have been protected! With $2,583,950 distributed to date, the county's Farmland Preservation Program provides matching grants to permanently protect Marin's agricultural heritage along with the habitat they provide. This past year, Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) received $2,046,950 in Farmland Preservation Program grants and leveraged an additional $2,493,050 in matching funds to protect three farms and ranches in Marin County—a total of 1,007 acres.
