The 13th Annual Quartzsite Christmas Light Pa- rade is also coming up on Saturday, Dec. 10th this year. Hopefully it will be bigger and better than ever. With this being the 150th birthday of Quartzsite coming up, it is hoped that more fl oats will be included and also many groups. The theme is Christmas in the Desert as always, and trophies will be given out in many catego- ries. The parade starts at 7 p.m., lineup on Mes- quite St. just east of La Mesa RV. The parade will travel down Main Street east to Plymouth Rd. and end up at Town Hall for trophies and refreshments. Please get your thinking caps on and come up with an idea for a fl oat or lighted vehicle and join in all the fun!! Applications for both these events are now avail- able at the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Com- merce so please come in and pick yours up during business hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chamber is located at 101 W.
