olivia thompson Maresh
'94 passed away from
breast cancer. Following
graduation from college,
Olivia began working as
an editor for the medical
journal, Family Practice
Management, at the
American Academy of Family Physicians.
She worked for the journal until her
retirement in 2005, when she was able to
follow her true love in life—staying home
and raising her two beautiful children. She
was an active member in the PTA and spent
the majority of her free time volunteering
at their school. Olivia was a loving mother
and wife who always put the needs of her
family first and took tremendous pride in her
children and their accomplishments. Olivia
is survived by her husband, Ian; children,
Luke and Lindsay; parents, Walter and Kaye;
brothers, Brett and Doug; and several nieces
and nephews.
