TakingITGlobal has been brought on as a collaborator in an exciting new project which aims at developing employability
and entrepreneurship skills for young people in six countries around the world with a foundation in technology, gender
equality and digital literacy.
TIG will be contributing to this global project by creating an online community platform where participants and local
stakeholders can engage through a simple, well-animated social network. TIG will design, develop and launch online
EQWIP HUB portal pages that showcase the activities and outcomes of individual locations throughout the project.
This platform will also provide support to the delivery of in-person training through the blended learning offerings.
By leveraging a customized TIGed learning platform youth will be able to access online learning modules while digital
badges, pre and post surveys and mobile monitoring tools will be employed to track the implementation and outcomes
of the EQWIP HUB programming.

Outside-IN helps young people become
accessible media specialists. Led by OCAD
University's Inclusive Design Research Centre,
the program is specifically designed for youth
with invisible and episodic disabilities. A flexible
and accessible learning space was created
using our online classrooms. The program was
promoted through our website and an Outside-
IN promotional website that we created. The
skills of participants are highlighted in an online
badge portfolio.
