FounDation BoarD aDDs tHree new DireCtors anD BiDs Farewell to two MeMBers A t the annual meeting of the membership of the Delta Chi Educational Foundation, two new directors were elected to three-year terms. Jason Butler, Central Missouri '99, joined the board after serving four years on the fundraising committee. He has spent the last 13 years of his professional career in fundraising working with national fraternity foundations on their development programs and fraternity chapters on housing campaigns. He previously served the Fraternity as a member of the Board of Regents and served on the Fraternity staff as a Leadership Consultant and Director of Chapter Services. Andrew Haggerty, New Mexico State '03, has been serving on the Foundation's Undergraduate and Young Alumni Giving Committee. He is an elected member of the El Paso, Texas County Commission and works as a realtor with his firm, Century 21 Haggerty. In 2014, he was president of the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors and was named Realtor of the Year in 2015. He has served as President of the Delta Chi Rio Grande Area Alumni Chapter since 2011. Lee Berlin, Cornell '58, retired from the board at the annual meeting. Brother Berlin stepped down due to time commitments as chairman of the upcoming capital campaign for the Cornell chapter house. The Foundation thanks brother Berlin for his service on the board and his willingness to continue to be of service to the Foundation by remaining a member of the Audit Committee. Miles Washburn, Massachusetts '87, has joined the Board as an ex-officio member as the Fraternity's Retiring "AA." This is a return to the Board for Brother Washburn, who previously served many years on the Board including as Vice President. He served as the Fraternity's "AA" the last four years and was previously on the Executive Committee and a Regent. He replaces Ratheen C. Damle, Texas '01, who had served on the Board the last four years as the Retiring "AA" and has retired from fraternity service after serving as an officer and regent for the last 15 years.
