These alumni recognize the importance of ensuring the future of the Gamma Tau Chapter and have demonstrated a sense of gratitude for their personal experience. Commitments are still needed from the rest of our alumni to achieve our campaign goal and complete this major project. All donors contributing a minimum of $2,500 or more to the campaign, over a five-year period, will be recognized on a plaque prominently displayed in the Shelter. T he fall 2016 semester is officially underway and Gamma Tau is looking forward to another strong semester. Our Fraternity and its members are excited to continue to better both our chapter and our community this year. preparing For ContinueD aCaDemiC suCCess This spring, the chapter earned a 2.96 GPA, which was just under our goal of a 3.0, but still an improvement from the fall 2015 semester. This year, we are looking to improve dramatically and have set the goal of achieving a GPA of 3.2. erik panther '18, our director of academics, is committed to seeing that our chapter continues its academic success. phiLanthropiC DeDiCation With the help of our External Vice President riley Botz '18, our chapter continues to show support for other Greek philanthropic efforts such as Kappa Alpha Theta's Casa Cakes and Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash. Our chapter is planning to participate in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk in Kansas City to support fellow Brothers battling Type Gamma Tau Sets High Goals for Year Gamma Tau's fall new member class won the annual Delt basketball tournament. The chapter invites three fraternities to participate in a round-robin freshmen basketball tournament each year.
