Though they are
frequently apart for
weeks, sometimes
months at a time as they
play with different bands
in different parts of the
world, Blackman Santana
finds that they stay close
and connected through
their many shared values
and passions.
"I think, the most
incredible thing is that
we are both on a spiritual
quest and we are both
on a musical quest,"
she reflects. "Spiritually,
Carlos is constantly
searching to raise his
vibrational level. I am constantly searching to raise my vibrational
level.
"Musically we are the same way. I really think that with a
person who was not a musician or did not have an understanding
of the level of not only love but drive that I have and that Carlos
has for music, it would drive the other person really crazy." n
