CELEBRATION
The Lafayette Society
celebrated the birthday of
Revolutionary War hero
Marquis de Lafayette with cake and ice cream at the Lafayette
statue in Cross Creek Park in historic downtown Fayetteville.
There was face-painting, children's games and presentations
from reenactor Mark Schneider, the Lafayette District Boy
Scouts and the All-American Fencing Academy.
