Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested Alpha Nu's Letter As the 1970s culture began to change, so did Beta's. e post-hippie generation of students was beginning to go to college, making KU a notable choice. e Hutt saw a number of brothers from urban areas and city and urban high schools. Many of these men were already exposed to the counterculture in high school instead of experiencing it in college and were ready for Beta rules and discipline.
