Red Bluff is a great place to live and visit, as we have unlimited recreational opportunities within the city and in the surrounding areas. We are very fortunate to live in an area with views of the surrounding mountains. Within just a short amount of time we can be at the coast, Oregon or the Bay Area. Within the city limits we have a skateboard park on Diamond Avenue, softball diamonds at Diamond Park, Trainor and Frey fields and Forward Park. At our beautiful River Park location we have a boat launch, the McGlynn Pool, basketball area, play- ground area, horseshoe pits, a group barbecue area, as well as individual barbecues. Samuel Ayers Park, also known as Dog Island Park, is home to a Civil War reen- actment each year. We have many recreational opportunities within our city, which you can find on our Web site: www.ci.redbluff.ca.us. Our downtown area is host to many events throughout the year, which include items such as the Wednesday night farmers market, Christmas Parade, Art Walks and of course the Round-Up Parade, as well as many other events. Our fairground annually hosts the world famous Red Bluff Round-up Rodeo and the annual Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale. We have a great munici- pal airport and are continu- ing to upgrade our facility. We also provide water to our residents that is so pure no treatment is needed. Whether you're a new resident of our city or just visiting, we know that you will enjoy your time here. Jeffery M.
