One of our main goals is to augment overnight visita on and deliver products to assist visitors in experiencing the tourism assets of all Cumberland County municipali es. The FACVB operates an annual program of work that is developed from research and data from conversion and visitor studies. The FACVB's annual program of work and departmental structure is divided into four areas: • Sales - focus on securing mee ng and tournament business for Cumberland County. • Tourism - focus on securing leisure and group visita on for Cumberland County and developing products. • Communica ons - focus on securing earned publicity and promo on for New Video Series Cumberland County tourism, maintaining a tourism web presence and research and technology ini a ves. • Visitor Services - focus on servicing the visitor in Cumberland County by maintaining three local visitor centers. We're pleased to announce our results from our 2015/16 program of work: • Secured 66 mee ng and sports tournament bookings that will fill 23,363 room nights at Cumberland County hotels. These bookings impact our economy at $7,898,194. The indirect, rollover impact on our economy is just over $19.5 million. • Saw over 170,000 unique visitors to VisitFaye evilleNC.com. • Launched a new video series to showcase Cumberland County a rac ons. • Secured 3,754 lis ngs for Cumberland County events in local, regional and travel trade websites and print publica ons. • Handled 14,047 visitor inquiries at three visitor centers. • Introduced re-designed Cultural Heritage Trails website. The new site is both print and mobile friendly.
