At 103 years she is one of the first and oldest continuous fraterni- ties on the UW campus. And even more impressive, Mu is the oldest continuous chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi's almost 200 chapters nationally. Continuous. Without Stopping. No interruptions of operation. Yes, there have been thin years, but because of the brotherhood, both alumni and under- grads, we are still here after many, many fraternities have disappeared from the UW campus and even nationally. Milestones! Amazing milestones. Steadfastness. And that stalwartness and resolute character of the chapter remain today with a vibrant 100+ brotherhood at 4554 19 th Northeast where all of us have lived. Because of the foundation that we created for these men to build upon, today these men average a 3.5 grade point. Yes 3.5+. And average means half of the brothers clocked in above this. Mu Chapter, with its iconic brick house and six tall white pillars, is still well known and respected among Greek Row and cam- pus for its extensive philanthropy and the character and integrity of its brotherhood. Yes, we helped build this. Without us they would not be there. The undergrad broth- ers know that what they are doing is built on generations of brothers in the house and alumni who have contributed endless time and resources to the chapter to make sure that it will always be there. Today the in- vestment we have all made is still bettering the man. The past is critical to the present. We are all connected. Together we are Mu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi.
