2 C ongratulations to our students and faculty on an exceptional year. It has been my honor and privilege to serve as president of the Board of Trustees. I am proud to work closely with the Board and our dedicated Head of School to continue to fulfill the mission of Bishop Seabury. As a parent of a graduating senior and senior-to-be next year, I have watched our children and our school continue to develop and excel. This has also been a banner year for school development! We raised over $200,000 with our Seabury Fund last autumn, and our annual auction, "Viva Seabury!", was also a huge success and allowed us to afford two school vans, new water fountains, stage lights, and additional student financial assistance. Our Seabury friends are many, and we thank them! With record enrollment, the long-term needs of Seabury are a priority for us to ensure current and future students have the opportunity to have an outstanding Seabury experience. We are blessed to have a wonderful community that believes in a Seabury education. As we approach our 20th anniversary of the founding of Seabury, we reflect on the families who felt strongly about a need for an independent school in Lawrence back in 1997. We continue to be appreciative to all Seabury families, faculty, and friends who, through their time, talent, and treasure, continue to make Seabury a very special place for our students. Thank you to everyone who has helped pave the way and to those who continue to make Bishop Seabury even better!
