Beta Phi Crier beta phi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta the ohio state university n spring 2016 B rothers, 2016 brings exciting news for the capital campaign and Beta Phi Chapter as construction is set to begin this summer. However, we still need the collective support of our alumni base to make this dream project become a reality and to secure the future of Beta Phi. We stand strong on the brink of a new era as we near the first phase of providing a state-of-the-art home away from home that will preserve the legacy of all past and present Delts and ensure our continued success at The Ohio State University. On behalf of the campaign leadership, thank you to all alumni who have already donated for your interest and participation in the campaign. It has been a successful year for Beta Phi, but we still have many strides to make on this project. Take a look at all that Beta Phi accomplished in 2015: R Construction approved to commence this summer R Raised more than $1.5 million in signed commitments R Gained 100 donors, raising participation to 8.89% R Reached more than 141 active members following fall recruitment With an incredible group of young men on campus, our chapter's future is extremely bright. However, Beta Phi was built on the combined efforts of 1,100+ brothers, and we recognize it will take all alumni to build the foundation for our next century of success. We have received $1,556,680 in commitments from 100 donors to date, but we need everyone's participation to secure the remaining $443,320 for this project. We need to reach this momentous goal by fall 2017 when the house is scheduled to be completed and active members move in, and we hope to surpass our goal to lessen the burden on our present and future brothers. Every dollar raised now is one less dollar members will have to repay after they move into the new Shelter next year. As we think about the future and the undergraduates moving into the new Delt house next year, we envision everyone's name on the plaque that will be prominently displayed in the Shelter. Take a look at the donor list. Is your name on it? Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on the plaque. We'd love to make the plaque twice as big, with twice as many names, or, better yet, four times as big, with four times as many names. We're sure you have memories of Delta Tau Delta that still influence your life. We have built a chapter with a wonderful reputation—at Ohio State and nationwide—and we're confident the next decades will be just as exciting as the past.
