We promise even greater dedication to our mission of creating more scholarship and grant programs, showcasing the value of specialized career education programs, improving public perception of these schools, preparing career education reports, and conducting research for the continual improvement and strengthening of American career colleges. In the years and decades to come, the IAF aspires to increase the number of enrolling career college students it assists, which is currently more than 180,000. e economy supports these efforts, as the job market is shiing to a reliance on careers that require specialized postsecondary education. Numerous individuals and organizations have made significant sacrifices to strengthen the career education field. In addition to recognizing these individuals and organizations, the IAF wants to bring more attention to career college graduates who have become innovators in their fields. is falls in line with the Foundation's goal to study and publicize the long-term results of career school programs. Of course, the struggle against negative public perception is ongoing. As crises and controversies arise, the Imagine America Foundation plans to meet them head-on and use them to advance the industry, showcasing the thousands of student accomplishments. In upcoming editions of Career College Central, this series will continue its focus on the important contributions the IAF is making in students' lives, local communities and the American education system. Watch for articles that address critical topics, including scholarships, cash grants, public awareness and research.
