Campaign StatuS at-a-glanCe As of May 13, 2016 $5 million FundraiSing goal $2,095,981 in ContributionS 93 pledgeS to date David eventually became president and CEO of the joint venture with Yokogawa Electric headquartered in Newnan, Georgia. He retired in 1993, though he still does a few consulting assignments for Johnson Controls. The Tradition of Excellence campaign means a lot to David as he has many pleasant memories from the "House on the Hill" in West Lafayette. "I want to help ensure that other young men can enjoy the same camaraderie that I felt. I hope other alumni recall the good times they, too, had at the house. Our house needs improvements, and if they don't happen, it could possibly mean the demise of the Indiana Beta Chapter. SAE brings back many warm memories for me, and I certainly hope many more young men will become True Gentlemen at Indiana Beta." David and his wife, Carolyn, live in Jensen Beach, Florida, and have two daughters and four grandchildren. David enjoys reading and golfing.
