Iowa Xi significantly increased signed members, and recruitment has been outstanding. This spring semester we had one of our largest recruitment classes within the last five years and we plan to keep those numbers consistent in the coming semesters. Participation in the Greek community is on the rise, especially with our Greek Week pairing of Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Alpha Sigma Kappa. We are constantly working to become a bigger part of the Greek community. Brotherhood is strong in the chapter house, as we participated in a spring Quo Vadis in March. We hosted our fundraising event in April for the Children's Miracle Network where we sold ice cream sundaes and raffle tickets. Welcome, Spring New Members Danny Fritsche '19 • Eden Prairie, Minn. Adam Nelson-Ockenfels '19 • Solon, Iowa Chase Rizo '19 • Shakopee, Minn. James Sweeney '19 • St. Paul, Minn. John Wilkin '19 • Eagan, Minn. Members participate in the annual Reformation Bowl against Beta Sigma Psi. Phi Kappa Theta has won this football game for three consecutive years. Left: Brothers enjoy spring break in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Executive Officers This semester, we worked on ways that we can improve the chapter and resolve any issues that arise. Brothers are working to achieve a 3.0 or above GPA. I am excited for the future of this chapter and all that our members accomplish. I encourage all alumni to stop by the chapter house for a visit if they find themselves in the area. Members would love to meet and share their Phi Kappa Theta experience with you. Fraternally, Brandon Devine '18 Chapter President devineb@iastate.edu
