Ten riders on eight machines left Bouse at 8AM on Tuesday, April 5 and after 418.6 miles, arrived back in Bouse at 7pm on Thursday, April 7. The fi rst day was 98 miles, to Lake Havasu City. In four hours, they'd gone only forty miles!! Into Wikieup for lunch and fuel, then on by Alamo Lake and back to Bouse at dusk. This was a long day, 198.6 miles! Neighborhood Watch to meet Thurs. May 6 Quartzsite Police Chief Ernie Ren- fro invites all residents of the Town of Quartzsite to attend and discuss establishing Neighborhood Watch at 6:00 PM, on THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2016, at the Town of Quartzsite Com- munity Center. "The QPD would like to coordinate and establish small neighborhood groups with a representative to communicate to the police department about the activities of your neighborhood," said Renfro. He said he hopes to bring each Neighborhood Watch group together with QPD Offi cers and encourage oth- ers to participate in Neighborhood Watches to protect life and property."
