A s the spring semester progresses at Washington State University, the men of Washington Beta are working hard to continue building on the rich history of ΣΑΕ. From academic success to extracurricular involvement, we are setting an example of leadership for our peers, prospective students, and the surrounding community. ACADEMICS REMAIN TOP PRIORITY This past year, members of ΣΑΕ continued to succeed in the classroom. Our members achieved a 3.2 GPA, which is well above the all-men's average. It is also the highest GPA of the fraternities at Washington State. We continue to foster scholarship among our members and strive for academic excellence. ESTABLISHED LEADERS ON CAMPUS Our active members set themselves up for success outside of the classroom by capitalizing on the opportunities provided by the university to fulfill leadership roles across campus. ΣΑΕ brothers hold some of the highest leadership positions at Washington State, including Interfraternity Council director of programming, Interfraternity Council director of recruitment, and director of student affairs for Associated Students of WSU. Our members are constantly endeavoring to set an example of leadership and service on campus. MEMBERS COMPLETE MORE THAN 1,000 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE Our members continue to make an impact in the community. Last fall, the men of ΣΑΕ completed more than 1,000 hours of community service, the most of any fraternity on campus. Washington Beta is dedicated to philanthropy and focused on making a positive impact in the Pullman community. THANK YOU, LOYAL ALUMNI Alumni, thank you for your continued support and guidance. We would not be the chapter we are today if it weren't for the example you have set. The men of Washington Beta are proud to add to the rich history of ΣΑΕ. By striking a balance between academic success, philanthropy, and social involvement, our active members are leaving a lasting impact on Greek life, on campus, and in the surrounding community for years to come.
