If you would like to contribute to our philanthropic efforts, please send a check to Sigma Chi Alpha Beta, P.O. Box 40347, Berkeley, CA 94704 or contact Andrew at arosenberg@berkeley.edu. CHAPTER RECEIVES GRANT FOR SOLAR PANELS We are very excited to announce that we received a $15,000 grant from the university to install solar panels on our chapter house, thanks to former Sustainability Chairman Daniel Caveney '17. ALPHA BETA REMAINS PROMINENT ON CAMPUS The University of California, Berkeley officially recognizes only a few select fraternities, and these fraternities are monitored by a group of elected officers. The goal for our Interfraternity Council (IFC) is to combat the negative image that members of the Berkeley community have about Greek life. We are proud to say that Alpha Beta is one of the recognized fraternities on campus, and we contribute a tremendous amount of time toward not only perpetuating our chapter's positive image but also helping spread that positivity throughout the community. Parker Adams '18 serves on the standards board for IFC and we are thankful for his dedication to making a difference in the Greek community at Berkeley. UNDERGRADUATES RECOGNIZED FOR PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS We are happy to report that several brothers have secured jobs at Google, Uber, LinkedIn, and many others, and we attribute much of this success to our professional development chairmen. Jeff Leong '12 will also organize mock interviews, resume building workshops, and one-on-one career building sessions this year. THANK YOU, ALUMNI, FOR MAKING OUR CHAPTER ONE OF THE BEST We look forward to another successful year at Alpha Beta and maintaining our prominent image on campus. Thank you for your tireless dedication to securing a future for our chapter and making Alpha Beta one of the best. If you are ever on campus, we would love for you to stop by.
