For more information visit www.quartzsitemuseum.com/ Historical Society The Quartzsite Art Guild Members enjoyed a great presentation by "Char" Charlene Morrison at the March 3rd meeting. Charlene Morrison presented examples from magazines of how perspective is used to enhance products and create depth. She gave a hands-on presentation of how to construct a two-point perspective of a house; comment- ing that vertical lines are always vertical, and horizontal lines go to the vanishing points on either side. She also indicated that perspective is noted by diminishing detail, size, and color as object are further back in a painting. Everyone enjoyed the presentation and took home a new perspective on perspective. March 17th Program will be tools and tricks of the trade. If you have a special effect or secret process you use in your paintings, bring them on Thursday to share with the group. OR just come see what you can learn. The Quartzsite Art Guild meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Senior Center, 40 N. Moon Mountain, Quartzsite. Come join us and meet some great artists.
