Don was born on July 12, 1934 in Edgerton, Minnesota to Lawrence and Florence Kreun. He graduated from Edgerton Public High School and then served in the Army at Fort Lewis, WA. After leaving the Army Don stayed in the Seattle area for several years and worked in the logging indus- try. Don and Kay owned and operated the Broadway Bowl for twelve years. In 1985 they moved to Quartzsite, AZ. Don loved to bowl, fish, and play cards. He was also an avid snow mobile enthusiast, loved stock car races and owned a stock car in partnership with Jerry Wynia for several years. Above all Don loved his grand- children with all of his heart and dearly loved spending time with them. Friends and family will miss his genuinely kind heart and his terrific sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Kay (Cath- ryn), brother Loren of Thurmond, Maryland, sons Rick Coombs of Olympia, WA, Mark Kreun and Julie of Hull, Iowa, Gregg Kreun and Susan of Chandler, AZ, grand- daughters, Alexis, Abbie and Audrey Kreun of Iowa and grand- daughter Samantha and grandsons Richard of Tempe, AZ and Eddie Kreun of Chandler, AZ. In Memoriam RICHARD LEROY JONES July 3, 1936 – November 24, 2015 Richard (Dick) Leroy Jones, of Quartzsite, Arizona, passed away from cancer on November 24, 2015. Born in Los Angeles, California to Richard Eugene and Maude Louise Jones he spent most of his childhood in San Dimas and La Verne, California with brothers and sisters. They moved to Parker Dam when Richard landed a job as a switch operator at the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) in Parker, Arizona. Rich- ard worked at MWD for 38 years, retired, and lost his beloved wife, Kathy to cancer in 1995. Richard then moved to Quartzsite, Arizona. Richard met Janice Inman in Laughlin, Nevada in March of 1996. It was love at first sight for both of them and they danced the night away. They have been inseparable ever since! Richard married Janice Inman Jones on December 31st, 1998 in a small ceremony in Winona, Minnesota. Janice and Richard split their time living in three different locations: Quartzsite, Arizona in the fall and winter, Valencia, California in the spring, and Winona, Minnesota in the summer.
