The show was also a fundraiser for Quartzsite Food Bank. In addition to all the fundraising efforts, the artists donated many wonderful items for one of the Quartzsite Baskets which will be raffl ed off at the La Paz County Fair, Sunday, March 13th at 1pm. "Passport to Adventure" was developed through the Focused Future II process from La Paz Eco- nomic Development Corporation (LPED) and Arizona Public Service (APS). The program will run from October to mid-March. The "Passport to Adventure - Explore La Paz County" is a promotional 24 page calendar booklet intended to entice locals and winter visitors to attend com- munity events throughout the La Paz County area. The booklet listed Attractions and Events in La Paz County located in western Arizona along the Colo- rado River. In addition to a comprehensive listing of community events and things to do in each community the "Passport Book" contained instruc- tions on how to participate in the "Passport Program" and short informational pieces on La Paz County and about its communities. From October through mid-March the Passport Book was available for FREE throughout La Paz County. At each community event the par- ticipants can have their Passport stamped with the stamp unique to that community. Stamps for at least 3 events in any community will earn tickets into the drawings which will be held at the La Paz County Fair. Folks can still get their Passport stamped at the Fair before turning in their "Boarding Pass" raffl e tick- ets. Be sure to stop in and say hi at the Quartzsite booth inside the Exhibit Hall. Look for the "Get your Passport Stamped Here" Signs!
