I f asked what Delta Gamma gave to us, we would all have a unique answer because sister- hood means different things to everyone. One thing that's clear is that our sisterhood had an influence on all of us during some of the most formative years of our lives. We all looked up to the pledge classes who came before us and felt instilled with a responsibility to build upon the legacy that we felt honored to be invited into. We were inspired and encouraged by who we surrounded ourselves with. Delta Gamma taught us the importance of sister- hood, leadership, academics, and the spirit of giv- ing, and those principles still guide us today. RENOVATIONS IMPRESS HAWKEYE CAMPUS Last fall, we were thrilled to show off the impres- sive renovations that are the talk of the Hawkeye campus. We hope that you were filled with pride to see that our beautiful home now matches the high-caliber and ambi- tious women who live in the same halls that we all felt at home in. But our work isn't over. To date, we have raised $684,070 toward the Anchored in Tradition, Securing Our Legacy at the University of Iowa campaign, but we need the help of every sister to reach our $800,000 goal. We can expect great things of our fundraising campaign but can only realize our goal if we work together to make this project a reality. JOIN OUR LIST OF LOYAL DONORS To increase participation in our campaign, last fall we launched a class competition to encourage alumnae involvement. Any initiation class that reaches 25% participation or more will be awarded with special recognition, and the class with the highest partici- pation rate will receive naming rights to the large anchor prominently displayed at the front door entrance of the Chapter house. We must reach our financial goals to complete our momentous project. FIND YOUR MOTIVATION Delta Gamma gave us friendships, support, and a place to call home. The significance that Tau Chapter has played in all of our lives is worth ac- knowledging and now is the time to give back to the house that built us. Whatever influenced you in our Chapter, we hope will fuel your motivation to give today. NOW IS THE TIME TO GIVE It's time for all of our sisters to add their names to our list of loyal donors. Please complete and mail the enclosed pledge form today or go online at http://uiowadeltagamma.kintera.org/donate to make your contri- bution to Delta Gamma.
