Delta Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity at RPI
Spring 2016
D
elta Psi hosted nearly 200 new members, undergraduate brothers,
and alumni at the Pomerory Chapter House at 58 Pinewoods Avenue
on October 2-4, 2015. The weekend celebrated the 65th anniversary
of Sigma Chi at RPI and included the dedication of the alumni room Order
of Constantine wall of honor and final performance of Oedipus and the
Mothers during the band party.
Award celebrations recognized Ed Kellogg '60 as our most recent Sig-
nificant Sig. Bill Wurst '71 and Jim Manocchi '75 were given Sigma
Chi Seven Lights awards by the international fraternity recognizing their
10 years of alumni service. Several of our brothers who have passed on to
Chapter Eternal, including Gary "Slug" Wood '71, who passed on earlier
this year, were recognized in a brief White Rose Ceremony, followed by
the planting of a memorial tree for Gary Wood outside the library. See more
