Learn what's important to this employer and how this organization is helping local schools take action to improve student outcomes. e organization: Charleston Ear, Nose and roat (ENT) is employer profile is the product of an interview with the human resources staff of Charleston ENT, a South Carolina- based health care facility with 11 locations and approximately 200 employees. Serving a metro area of about 800,000 people, it is one of the largest private health care providers in the city. e organization continues to grow aer just opening its 11th location at the end of 2015. With a team of physicians, RNs, surgical technicians, medical assistants, front office assistants, medical billing and coding personnel, and call center staff, Charleston ENT has a typical makeup of the new generation of health care. In other words, Charleston ENT understands the importance of increasing the number of entry-level, allied health positions to satisfy the demands of the Affordable Care Act to improve quality while reducing costs. Furthermore, leadership and hiring managers understand the importance of working closely with educators in the area. Charleston ENT's success is directly tied to the quality of the training that occurs in the classroom, because the organization understands the connection it must have with educators to succeed.
